Saying Goodbye to Family

We had such a great time visiting family in the US before leaving to South Africa. First we made a stop with Cameron's brother's family in Chicago. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins, and spending the week with Grandma Soda who flew in from Colorado. There were many outings to the climbing wall and indoor pool, lots of wonderful meals, and great conversation, oh and don't forget the girls shopping!! Then we headed back home to finish our packing and headed down through Oklahoma to Texas to visit the rest of the family. We arrived just in time to see the peak of the bluebonnets which were beautiful! We had some repacking and sorting to do and spent the rest of the time visiting, shopping, and preparing! The kids had a blast driving the golf cart with Aunt Janis. They loved staying with Dee Dee and GJack and visiting Papa Don and Gram. Shiloh is still talking about how great the buffet was! We all realized how precious this time was as we knew it would be way too long until we were back together. We will be forever indebted to all our family for their generosity, hospitality and love! We miss you all! Thank goodness for skype!
