Sea fishing with Alastair

Our friend Alastair invited us to come stay at his home on the sea.  He and his wife Cheryl hosted us to a wonderful day.  It was our first time sea fishing.  

Cam caught his first shad and we enjoyed eating it!   

The kids enjoyed the fishing, but A was hooked the most!  

W wanted to keep this one as a pet, but we convinced him to let it go. He enjoyed watching it play in the rock pools.

Winter Holiday in Margate

We headed down the south coast to stay with Ben and Caz for a few days during the winter school holidays.  Ben and Caz are running the mission projects in Margate and we were excited to help with a jumble sale and holiday club (aka vacation bible school).  The theme was the armor of God and the kids loved it!

Then it was on to some great beach time and waffles in Ramsgate.
