Family Photo Shoot with Brightgirl

A few months ago, our talented photographer friend Eileen and her talented graphic designer/ gourmet chef husband Nick invited us to dinner to try out our first Potjiekos Stew cooked in the traditional 3 legged cast iron pot over a fire with oxtail and vegetables.  Dinner was divinely delicious!  Unfortunately the monkeys came in and stole the bread that would have accompanied it!  We all had a good laugh about that one.

Eileen invited us to do an impromptu photo shoot and we eagerly said yes!  She was quite taken aback when we sat down to do the shoot and everyone took their classically trained poses.  Little did she know what she was getting with a family that has spent all of their life in front of a portrait photographer's camera!  She spiced things up a bit and just had us interact in front of the camera to do some "free style posing" as it were.   It was a fun and memorable evening shared with great friends!  Here are some of the photos from that night.  If anyone would like prints of these photos, just let me know and I can arrange it for you.

Eileen's work is incredible and you can view more of her photography at her website.
